TAILGATE BIB | MTB Bib-Liner, Summer
TAILGATE BIB | MTB Bib-Liner, Summer
The TailGate rear opening is both wonderfully simple and simply wonderful. There's no need to reach inside your jersey to find tethers, halter straps, buckles, snaps, clasps, etc... simply pull them up and down like regular pants.
Men's DirtBaggies have been described by the MTB press as the “best baggy shorts on the market”, “crazy light”, “genius”, and “awesome”. Womens' DirtBaggies are even better.
Purchased pair of dirt baggies pre owned, and glad I did not buy new. The pros of this bib definitely the pull down system, legs grip is great, just enough compression, awesome chamois, fit (lower) spot on. But the con of the bibs make it deal breaker!! The straps!! Why place them between breast so high that if your not wearing a turtle neck they stick out to be seen?! And getting them on they are twisted and I need my boyfriend to help adjust... If I'd wear them anyway, but who wants straps sticking out of the neckline of jersey. Change the straps and I'll be sold, but for almost 200 think more research would have been done on placement.
It sounds like these bibs are a size too big for you. We have a no quibble exchange/return policy, so please reply to your order confirmation email and I’ll get a smaller bib on it’s way to you.
If after trying the smaller bibs you’re still not happy, I’ll be glad to offer a full refund - I’m sure you’ll be happy, everyone else has been so far!
My apologies for this inconvenience, have a great weekend,
Tim
follow-up: Becca didn't ask for an exchange so I followed up by email. She told me she had an XS sized bib which she had not bought from DirtBaggies.com. At the time of this review we had only sold through the website, and we had not yet sold any in the XS size. I didn't get another reply, it was pretty weird.
I am in love with the new TailGate bibs for women! I just completed my first 100 mile mountain bike race. These bibs / shorts were perfect for the event. Never had to worry about straps or clips. Just "Stop, Drop, and Roll!" Thanks, DirtBaggies, for making the best women's bibs on the market!
